Our clients often need specific advice on a particular building problem(s), such as the seriousness of rising damp, cladding, building and/or pest defects, Cracking, movement and settlement, termite damage, and/or how to fix a chronic roof leak etc. In addition, it is also not uncommon to encounter problems with Builders and trades during construction and renovations.

A Technical Inspection carried out by a Professional, Qualified Building Surveyor from Acclaimed Building Consultancy Pty Ltd will assess the complex or difficult to resolve issue & typically an assessment of a specific problem in your property. We provide expert advice to numerous clients on a regular basis.

Sometimes a Technical Report is seen as the first step in a Defect Claim or legal matter. Sometimes we may advise, if further investigations are required, including invasive inspections, water testing or specialists such as Engineers etc.

It involves our Qualified Building Surveyor/Building Consultant examining the current condition & carefully, reviewing any relevant documents and then preparing a clear Report setting out the issues and what you need to do. Example – Home Building Act.

We may recommend an appropriate contractor, provide tactical advice about who to engage to help resolve the problem or warn you about commencing an unnecessary and expensive legal dispute.
