REFUND POLICY

Refunds are only applicable to full priced Pre-Purchase Building and Pest reports on residential properties only and apply when you are not the purchaser of the property we inspected on your behalf.
Refund do not apply to: 

  • Copies of reports
  • Pre-sale inspection reports
  • Reports completed on commercial properties
  • Defects reports
  • Completion reports
  • or any other service

Refunds for Pre-Purchase Inspections must be requested via our website within six weeks of receiving the report. 

BUYER REPORT FEE – BALANCE PAYABLE

By ordering these reports for $150.00, you agree that, if you (or a person associated with you) buy this property, you will pay a Buyer Report Fee of $400.00. There is no additional fee if you do not buy the property.

 

VENDOR REPORTS

Refer to the agreenments applicable to either 

  • PREFERENCE 1 or
  • PREFERENCE 2
     

PRE-SALE INSPECTION 

Pre-sale inspection listed at the fee of $150.00 are subject to a BALANCE FEE is the reports are requested and paid for by the buyer of the property.

Pre-sale inspection listed at the fee of $295.00 are NOT subject to a BALANCE FEE.
 

DELIVERY POLICY

  • Reports are emailed upon full payment at 9am following the day of Inspection
  • Reports completed on a Friday will be emailed on Monday morning at 9am unless there is an Auction scheduled for the following Saturday.
  • Reports completed on Friday where the auction is on the following Saturday – reports will be emailed providing full payment has been received after hours Friday night (office hours 9am-5pm Mon-Thurs and 9am- 4.30pm Friday)
     

PRIVACY POLICY

Reports will not be discussed until such time that we have:

  • We have received signed agreements/terms and conditions
  • Full payment
  • Reports have been issued in client’s name.

    (Client means the person(s) or other legal entity for which the inspection is to be carried out and is names on the front of a report.)

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY TO THIRD PARTIES:

The only Person to whom we may be liable and to whom losses arising in contract or tort sustained may be payable by is the Client named on the face page of report No reports are discussed partly or in whole with any third partie(s).
 

CANCELLATIONS FEES

Should you cancel or postpone your order within

48hrs – 25% of Initial cost
24hrs – 50% of Initial cost
Same day – 75% of Initial cost

  • Personal information is any information about a client or an individual provided to us when ordering one of our services and the client’s identity can be reasonably determined.
  • Obtaining personal information is necessary and without your personal information, we are unable to conduct business with you.
  • By agreeing to our terms and conditions you understand that your name may be released to a selling agent if requested upon you ordering and receiving your reports from ACCLAIMED BUILDING CONSULTANCY.
  • Please ensure to always read the relevant terms and conditions applicable to the reports requested.
  • Where possible, personal information is collected directly from you. Collection may also take place by:
    – a third party, ie: your legal or other representative;
    – instructions received from you by email/phone or written instruction – letter/ fax
     

ACCLAIMED BUILDING CONSULTANCY MAY:

  • disclose your personal information in certain circumstances or if authorised by law to disclose your personal information.

We may be required by law to retain personal information for a period of time after you have ceased your relationship with us.
